9/11 20th Anniversary Commemoration “Light in the Darkness”

The Community is invited to a commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. We will honor the memories of those lost, the suffering of the family and friends they left behind, and the bravery and sacrifice of first responders that day. We will join together in hope for a more peaceful and just world.

This event will be officiated by Alan Foulds, Town Moderator and member of the Reading PorchFest Committee. We will be joined by the Reading Police and Fire Department Honor Guards. There will be performances by the Reading Community Concert Band, Reading Community Singers, and Encore Dance Academy. Keynote Speakers are Addy Hillery (Barrows Elementary School), Clara Healy (Parker Middle School), and Abigail LeBovidge (Reading Memorial High School).
